F.H. King is a UW-Madison organization that focuses on sustainable agriculture. Made up of a passionate community of students, FH King is devoted to growing food and sharing it with one another. Collectively, we love to learn and experience sustainable agriculture first hand through workshops, internships and seminars on everything from cheese-making to composting to beekeeping. According to one director, “F.H. King is a venue for our student community as well as the overall Madison community to discover how agriculture and sustainability can converge and find a flexible, yet solid balance. It is a place to continue and sustain an ever more important dialogue amongst our community, based on the recognition of the connection between the land around us and the food that we eat. “
